With over 30 years of experience as an actor and director, Tyler combines an expert understanding of performance based narrative storytelling with a singular collaborative philosophy.

As an actor myself, I understand and have a deep respect for the collaborative bond between a director and a performer. As a director, I pride myself in creating an environment where actors feel supported and empowered to do their best work. Equal parts dungeon master, scene partner, and client liaison, my objective (see what I did there!) is to act as an intermediary between narrative designers, producers, engineers, and talent, facilitating each role in contributing their expertise to our collective ultimate goal - ushering a story from concept to creation.

Originally from Jefferson City, Missouri, I migrated to California in 2005, bringing with me a die-hard fandom for the St. Louis Cardinals and equally extreme opinions regarding barbecue. I’m a father of one, an enthusiastic home cook, a lover of tabletop/board games, and a relatively decent add to your pub trivia team (roughly in that order).
